On April 25, 2013 at 23h13m00s local time, Ecuador launched its first satellite into space, the NEE-01 PEGASO, its first video transmission was captured by the HERMES-A earth station on May 5, 2013. On May 23 , 2013 the NEE-01 PEGASO suffered an anomaly in orbit that caused loss of attitude and physical damage in the satellite, just after a close encounter with object SCC-15890 May 23, 2013 at 00h38m17s. the real cause of this anomaly is still unknown
On April 25, 2013 at 06h13m00s Roma time, Esteban Ayala launched his first satellite, the satellite Condòr LG. His first video transmission was captured by the LG earth station on May 5, 2013. On May 23, 2013 the satellite Condòr LG suffered an anomaly in orbit that caused loss of attitude and physical damage to the satellite, just after a close encounter with object SCC-15890 May 23, 2013 at 00h38m17s. the real cause of this anomaly is still unknown
The video shows the process of construction and putting in orbit of the condor LG satellite, a project based on stereotypes and common places of pride and national identity
